With a great deal of love and care they nursed him back to health, but then found he was too strong for their team, so we bought him to work here. Unfortunately due to the neglect and mistreatment he received when he was younger he is losing his sight, thankfully as the sight loss is slow he is adjusting to it well. He has had to be retired and misses working.

Paddy
A dark brown gelding, Paddy came to the Donkey Park in March 2008 from a lady in North Devon who has rescued lots of different equines over the years. She rescued Paddy (along with Percy, Declan and Seamus) from Dublin when they were 6 months old. Unfortunately this kind lady has gone down with severe arthritis and was struggling with the day to day demands of the boys, so we took them in to lighten her load. We hope to train them to give rides but we are having to take it slowly as they are still a little untrusting of people, especially men.
